How Baseball is Played
Baseball is played on a diamond-shaped field with four bases (first, second, third and home base). Players and Positions in Baseball
Each baseball team has nine players on the field at a time. The positions include pitcher, catcher, first, second, and third baseman, shortstop, left fielder, centre fielder, and right fielder. Each player has a specific role to play and contributes to the team’s success in different ways.
Pitcher: The pitcher is the player who throws the ball to the batter. They are responsible for throwing strikes and getting the batter out.
